Dear Past and Present walkers Just to let you know that from 1st February Vale Vision will no longer host and co-ordinate the Cam, Dursley and Uley walks and walk leader cover. The Cam walk, first Wednesday in the month will continue with leader Peter Harney. For the time being there will not be a Uley walk on the third Wednesday of the month nor a Friday afternoon walk on the last Friday of the month (27th Jan as normal). |

It is hoped that another community group will take up a similar co-ordinating role to that carried out by Vale Vision, since 2007, and more walks be added to the walks programmes also recruitment of new walk leaders. The Directors of Vale Vision thank all past and present walk leaders, and walkers, for their support in the walks programme. Vale Vision Development Ltd was formed in 2005 to work with the communities of Cam, Dursley and district in Gloucestershire to produce a Community Strategic Plan for the next 10-29 years that would help to turn the communities’ vision of their future into reality. with a Vision: “To develop a thriving Community that recognises, respects and provides for the varied needs of the people that live, work in or visit the area. We will conserve and care for our attractive environment, whilst providing learning opportunities, jobs, access to services and leisure activities for everybody.” Thank you everyone, I hope to see you on a walk sometime soon.
